RESUME
Bill is a native Oklahoman, with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Oklahoma State University. Bill has been licensed to practice as an Architect in the State of Oklahoma since 1974, and has over thirty-eight years of professional experience across many project types including: multi-family housing, hospitality, corporate offices, hospitals, hazardous material storage facilities, local & state government projects, retail & mixed-use retail developments. Bill has also completed projects in the following states: Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado.
Bill is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a retired board member of the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the AIA. Bill has also served as an “expert witness” for Oklahoma City area law firms, and has provided “investigative services” for the Oklahoma Board of Governors of Licensed Architects.

As Senior Project Architect, Bill’s duties typically involved all phases of architectural practice including, but not limited to, the following areas of responsibility: marketing, client development, project programming, project management, preliminary design, design development, preparation of AutoCAD construction drawings, preparation of specification and construction documents, engineering consultant coordination, plan review & permitting, bid phase administration, construction phase administration, construction observation, contractor coordination, project closeout and warranty administration. Project construction costs managed by Mr. Silk typically varied from approximately $1M to over $50M.

As Project Architect Bill’s duties included, but were not limited to, the following: “Design Oversight Coordinator” for the City of Oklahoma City for a new $85M “MAP’s” Sports Arena. Duties for other projects also included: construction drawing preparation, project management, engineering consultant coordination, construction observation, contractor coordination, project closeout and warranty administration. Bill also served on the AutoCAD coordination & planning committee for this multi-disciplined firm. Project construction costs managed by Mr. Silk typically varied from approximately $1M to $25M.
